Julie Mekhael
Bio
Julie was born in Los Angeles, CA, where she then grew up in East Highland Ranch with her fun family of 5. In 2010, she and her family moved to Sunny San Diego, where she graduated from Torrey Pines High School and continued her education at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), receiving her bachelor’s degree in political science.
Her early love for competitive swimming, which started at the age of 5, carried her through her college years. But a new path called her when she made the decision of going to law school in Cleveland, Ohio. Julie's fascination with the law took shape during her upbringing, as she found herself drawn to TV shows like "Law and Order" and "Criminal Minds." Because of her interest in being in the court room, she became a Certified Legal Intern at the San Diego Public Defenders office in the Felony division. Julie later graduated Law School and earned her Juris Doctorate, where she moved back to San Diego to take the bar exam.
Deeply valuing her family ties as well being a part of the Coptic Orthodox community, she developed a strong passion for connecting with people, which led her to an interest in family law. Her passion for family law is fueled by her empathetic nature and sincere commitment to understanding each client's unique circumstances.
As a law clerk at our firm, Julie brings her unique blend of experiences and enthusiasm to help clients navigate the legal field. Her commitment to the law, nurtured by her love for family and connecting with others, forms a strong foundation for her contributions to our team.
